My hats off to you chica! Your portrayal in the Lifetime Television movie “Break-In” was superb! As usual, you have delighted your fans with another great acting performance. (Pictured below is actor Todd Babcock and of course actress Tessie Santiago)

In the made for television movie, Tessie plays Joanie, the sister of the main character Cameron. Cameron happens to be on his honeymoon with his new bride Marla at a secluded hill-top hacienda on the island of San Carlos. As a surprise to his new bride, Cameron invites his sister Joanie and her husband Parker to spend the last night with them on the island as a way to help them celebrate their new life together.

Then the two couples nightmare begins. Val, Ria and Angel break into the house in search of a safe which supposedly contains 10 million dollars. The tenents are surprised by the would-be thieves and are taken hostages.

The three assailants begin to question Cameron, Marla, Joanie and Parker about the money. None of the house guests know anything about it. That's when the fun begins for the hostages. They are subjected to cruel punishments with a lot of gun waving.

On top of their misfortune, Cameron, Marla, Joanie and Parker along with Val, Ria and Angel get trapped in the house when a hurricane hits the island of San Carlos leaving all the occupants stranded inside to ride out the storm. Adding to the assailants worries to get out of the house with the money and off the island is Inspector Raddimus, a violent and crimes police officer who works on the island.

More games ensue between all the individuals, with lots of high tension, stressful situations, murder and unknown truths. The storyline of the movie was good and it kept me glued to my chair until the movie was over. There is a nice twist at the end of the movie. I won't give away the ending, so trust me that the movie is really good!

Cameron is played by actor Eric Winter, Marla is played by actress Kelly Carlson, Val is played by Marc Kudisch, Ria is played by Mercedes Renard and Inspector Raddimus is played by actor Carlos Ponce.

Tessie has some wonderful scenes in the movie. She is paired opposite actor Todd Babcock who plays her husband Parker. There are some good scenes of Tessie acting drunk (a first for her), Tessie acting as a seductress, Tessie cooking in the kitchen, Tessie acting scared and Tessie acting brave! She played many facets in this movie and it really brought out her talent as an actress.

Tessie did a great job with her made for television movie role. She proved that she is a versatile actress. I would like for her to make the big leap into motion pictures one day. It would be wonderful for her fans to see her on the big screen!

Again, congrats Tessie on your performance in “Break-In”. Kudos for a job well done!

On April 1-2, 2006, the 15th Annual Florida Film Festival will premiere the movie “The Way Back Home” co-starring Tessie Santiago in Orlando, FL. The film is also being premiered in West Palm Beach, FL and in Los Angeles, CA. The film has been nominated in different selections at the film festivals.

If any of Tessie's fans, who live in Florida, can attend the screening we at the TSFansite would like to hear all about it. Drop the Webjefa an email and share your experience with other Tessie fans.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Tessie made an appearance at the screening? Who knows, anything is possible. I hope the film makes a good impact at the festival. Tessie will share the spotlight with Cristián De La Fuente, her onscreen love Antonio - episode Duel With A Stranger from the Queen of Swords series. She will also star opposite B.J. Britt, Ernie Grunwald, and Brandy Norwood (from the TV show Moesha).

Now word has spread that the ratings for Kitchen Confidential are not looking so hot. There is even a petition going on to save the show. Does this mean that all the hoopla has gone down hill and it has gotten so bad that the higher ups are ready to pull the plug on it? Wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Although Tessie had a limited appearance on this show and it is not likely that she may return for other appearances, this show just didn't have much appeal. It was great that it gave Tessie a wonderful opportunity to return back to television, but I'm sure that she will find other projects where she can showcase her talent.

You win some and you lose some. Don't give up Tessie!

It was great to see her back showcasing her talent as an actress. Tessie's role of “Donna” the waitress was fun to watch. She had funny scenes and it shows that she is good at being a comedic actress. Even though she has a small role and it maybe a recurring role, she blends in well with the other cast members. I'm sure it must reminded her of the old days when she worked in a Miami restaurant as a Hostess.

It is great to see that Tessie is making another comeback on a different show, even though she is not cast as a member of the comedy sitcom. Although it has taken a long time for her to find a good project, this is a great start. She has been missed and her fans are happy to see her back.

If Tessie continues to appear as “Donna” on Kitchen Confidential, she will get more exposure as an actress and possibly be asked to appear on other major television shows. It would be nice to see her star in her own television show again, but guest appearances are a great start too.

Tessie celebrates her birthday August 10 and turns 30 years old. If my memory serves me correct, Tessie started her acting career when she was 21 years old. On August 10, Tessie will join an elite group of 30 something year old actors and actresses in hollywood. She has starred in her own television show, co-starred in television shows or movies and has made guest appearances in other television programs. As Tessie continues to work in new future projects, she is making her mark in hollywood.

The Tessie Santiago Fansite would like to wish Tessie a Happy Birthday (Feliz Cumpleaños) and may she continue to have success in all of her endeavors.

Notable TV Guest Appearances: “Kitchen Confidential” playing “Donna” in episode: “Exile on Main Street - Pilot” (episode # 1.0)

The series premiere is Monday, September 19th at 8:30 pm on the Fox Network. Mark you calendars for Tessie's guest appearance on television.

Prior rumors listed Tessie as being part of the cast, but it turns out that she is appearing as a Guest star on the series pilot premiere.

The Plot: Jack Bourdain, a once famous chef, has hit rock bottom. Out of the blue, Jack is offered an opportunity to get back in the game as head chef at a top New York restaurant. There's just one problem: the owner gives Jack a mere 48 hours to fully staff his kitchen and prepare to dazzle over 300 customers - including the food critic for the New York Times.

Cast: Bradley Cooper (Jack), Bonnie Somerville (Mimi), Owain Yeoman (Steven Daedelus), Nicholas Brendon (Seth Richman), John Cho (Teddy Wu), Jaime King (Tanya), John Francis Daley (Jim), Tessie Santiago (Donna). The comedy sitcom will be airing on Monday's at 8:30pm on FOX (30 mins) with a premiere date of September 1, 2005.

It is great to see Tessie currently working on a new project. This is her second attempt at comedy. The last time her fans saw her on television was on the cancelled NBC comedy sitcom ”Good Morning, Miami".
